ABOUT ME

My name is Katy Carter; I live in Fort Wayne, Indiana with my husband, Nicholas, our dog Thor, and our cat Miles. I went to Purdue University to study Elementary Education but I never felt overly excited about it and longed to feel passion for what I was doing. In 2020 I helped plan my best friend's wedding to her high school sweetheart and I fell in love with all the parts of planning a wedding. After finishing at Purdue University, I enrolled in the New York Institute of Art and Design and graduated in August of 2022 with a certification in Wedding Planning and founded Katy Lynne Planning shortly after!

I have a huge heart, and seeing two people in love and making them even happier by helping create their dream wedding is the greatest privilege I could ever ask for. Please consider me to help make your dream wedding a reality!
